An SLW and a GLW look like they have mascrera smeared under their eye as chicks...so if it has mascera then it could be but if not then it is something else....

I cant tell the difference If i had to guess I would say its a regular size.

I have two babies who just like that, and I got them out of the mystery bin as well.
A worker told me I had botten two Plymouth Barred Rocks, so I'm positive that's what you've got.

I'd say not Barred Rock. Sorry, but most feed store workers have no clue about chickens, or much else for that matter.

It looks like a black sexlink rooster to me. Mine had white heads like that.

My plain ole feedstore barred rocks just had a dot on the top/back of their heads.
