What type of chicken is this? It is really large.

I bought a couple random chickens at my local flea market. This one was really large and I'm not sure what type of chicken she is. She is nearly the size of my leghorn rooster.

She is a HE. Easter egger.. cochin mix is my guess.

So you think it is a rooster? It has never crowed. It also doesn't have spurs.

I see a lovely beard and EE body type, comb as well as coloring so I am going with EE cockerel.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt! Gorgeous saddle feathers! Not all roosters have spurs or grow them quickly. We have a handsome rooster who has 1/4" spurs at this point but DEFINATELY a roo. Lots of fertilized eggs to prove it!

Sorry...to be clear the beard, comb and coloring I was looking at for breed identity.

He has pointed hackle and saddle feathers as well as a 3 row pea comb and red wing patches that are all male characteristics.
