What type of chicken is this?

Hi!

I volunteer at a bird sanctuary and someone dropped this bird off thinking it was a pheasant or some other wild other bird.

Any one know what breed this is?

It's a chicken. Too common of a down coat and too young to make a solid determination on breed

that looks so alike to one of mine that I hatched out but she was a cross breed ( the one on my pfp ) RIR crossed with Speckled Sussex

Definitely a chicken chick, possibly a Welsummer. Age is probably between 3-4 weeks old, since back and head feathers haven't grown in yet.
