What type of chicken is this?

I was told that this was a bearded silkie, however, it doesn't look like a silkie at all to me. He's very pretty and I really like him, but I would like to know what breed it really is. I'm knew to raising chickens, so I certainly don't have all the answers! LOL The picture doesn't show his feet, but they are feathered as well. I have posted a problem he is having with his feet as well in the emergency and disease section. Thanks for your help!

Definitely PART Silkie. Definitely PART something else. His feathers are gorgeous...very well taken care of. Wish I could give more insight...

He looks like a Silkie crossed with a Japanese Bantam. The squirrel tail is a big push for that cross.

Yeah that's what I was thinking - That squirrel tail really is quite a sore thumb, makes you think there has to be Jap or something in there. . .
