What type of chickens are my two sweethearts?

I got these two darlings about two days ago, and I absolutely love them! But the more I look up details about these two, the more confused I get. They told me that they had Red Sex Links, Sex Links, and White Leghorns. The White chick looks just like the chicks in the pictures that I found, my my Red Sex Link looks different...

Is it because she's still young? Here are some pictures...




it was easier to take those pictures when they were sitting on me, if they're not chasing after an ant, they're jumping on my legs!

Any more details about these two will be greatly appreciated!

Might be a sex link like you said or a production red

The golden/white is a gold or red sexlink. This feathering demonstrates that it s female.

The white one "could" be the male version of the same mix, but it doesn't show any signs of being male, at this point.
Which means the white one is a hatchery white bird of some kind. Too soon to say much more than that.

They owners of the feed store that I got them at said they only had pullets in the chick box and had grown roosters outside. I hope I don't have a rooster .-. I can't keep roosters in my backyard. It's prohibited in my city...

Agree with Fred--your reddish bird is a red sex link female. The other bird could be a leghorn pullet, or a variety of things at this point. Nothing's screaming rooster, but the next few weeks will tell for sure.
