What type of comb is this?

I know my big silkie roo is hatchery quality bird and so his comb hasn’t been the right color for his breed. While trying to determine what kind of comb one of his chicks will have I took a closer look at him.

His comb has changed lot since I last looked at it. Looks like he is recovering from fowl pox also. Does this mean he is a silkie cross himself? What kind of comb is this?

Looks like a rose or walnut comb to me.

I think walnut is round like a walnut right? Still googling it. Silkie are supposed to have walnut. He has those horn looking thing going backwards.

Walnut and V comb. They're not always distinct types, either from crosses or from mutations. Polish commonly have V combs. It's possibly he has Polish in his ancestry, especially if he comes from a disreputable hatchery.
