Hello. Newbie here. I've heard there are many types of feed and I'm wondering what age should you feed layer feed. Thanks.

You can start it around 16 - 18 weeks, or when they show signs that they are getting ready to lay. Or you can keep them on Multi-Flock (around 20% protein) all the time, and offer supplemental calcium.

x2. The ideal rations are Starter from 0-8 weeks, Grower from 8-16 weeks, and layer 16-18+ weeks. Multiflock is ideal if you include cockerels or other species in your flock.
