What type of food is best???

Hi everyone!! I`m wondering what type of food is best for my 7 pullets. Does anyone have any good food brands, that arent extremely exspenive??

How old are your pullets? I started out with chick starter, then they started eating layena made by Purina.

Im really not sure how old they are, they have all their plumage and look like mini chickens. Lol I think they hatched sometime around easter maye a little before. Should I be feeding chick food still???
