I found a goose egg at the park, it's one of those parks where people dump easter ducklings and goslings at

and they get eaten up by the wild life... But there's a few surviving domestic geese there that never nest because little kids attack their nests and racoon's steal from them. So I found this egg and decided to take it home and give it a chance to hatch in the incubator. And 26 days later I have this baby. Don't know what she is. I'm hoping she's purebred because the mated pairs of geese there all stuck with the same breeds it looks. I'm also hoping she's a girl...

You could try vent sexing, I did last year as a total novice and with young ones, especially day olds, it's pretty easy. (Male geese have penises, so that makes it easy to tell!) Maybe someone could offer some advice on that. It's difficult to explain without showing. But I think I found this video:
Very useful.

However, I'd guess a girl. She looks kind of like a female pilgrim goose. Dark babies that grow into white adults are usually females. The females are always darker. She has a very dark beak, purple-ish the way pilgrim females' often are. But she could be a mix and thus, there'd be no way to tell.

ETA: Also, she is lovely!

Well thank you for that :) I'm hoping she is purebred because like I said at that park the geese who are purebred stuck together and there are several pilgrims there along with embden and white chinese geese.
