what type of grass should I plant?

We want to plant pasture grass for our goats,chickens and ducks, what would be best?
It will be in a partly shaded area and the goats, chickens and ducks will be on it. It is a pretty big area for all to roam around on!

It would help if we knew what state you are in. Climate makes a HUGE difference in what forage grows well and what doesn't. What ever you end up using add clover to the mix and all will love you for it.

have you thought of forage deer plot seeds like imperial seeds: http://www.whitetailinstitute.com/products/
Easy to plant, healthy variety of grass/cover. I personally use the no plow and clover mix to plant a little plantar box in my run. My chicken love it.
