WHAT TYPE of incubator would be ideal / cheap for a beginner

My finding after experimenting with many different varieties is that some have more luck with one model than do others. I, for instance, have never had any luck with the styrofoam incubators. I tried 3 different kinds before I gave up and bought a old antique brower incubator that looks like two cake pans, one flippep upsidedown on top of the other. That thing has given me the best hatches! I just love it

Friends laugh at me but I won't ever get rid of it. I have talked to many others who swear by first one type then another so i think you have to find what works for you. Ebay is a good place to buy a second hand incubator at a reasonable price. I think I paid like $80 for my brower and that is no more that a still air LG runs at the local co-op.

As Miss Prissy once told me. Hovabator 1588 w/ turner. Plug and play. Check out their site, they will even send you quail eggs with one of the deals. All for under $180.
