What type of OEGB’s are these?

I got these pullets about 2 months ago. Do you know what type they may be?

For those of you who raise OEGB’s, do these 2 look like wheaten and blue wheaten maybe? What about the black one? I’m just now getting into OEGB’s and the person I got them from wasn’t sure really but said she “knew” they were true OE’s.

Currently the sets of OEGB's I have purchased from breeders are Brassy Backs, Brown Reds, Lemon Blues, and Silver Duckwing.

Agreed on the colors. The first one could be pure OEG. The second shouldn't have yellow legs to be a OEG. The third looks to long legged and to long bodied to be pure OEG.

Agree with sylviethecochin and Gray Farms. The birchin looks to maybe have a pea comb, which would indicate mixing.

If you are from a country other than the United States, the standards can be different, though. In some places leg color isn't an issue, and probably not comb type, either. In those places it is all about type.

Thanks for the input! Would I be able to put them with any of my OEGB roosters, without getting banyard mix? The roos I have are:

Brown Red
Lemon Blue
Brassy Back
Silver Duckwing

He's a golden duckwing OEGB-- similar to silver duckwing, but with gold at the shoulders and sometimes elsewhere with lower quality birds.

You can't just put any OEG rooster with any hen and get offspring pure for either color variety. You need the same variety male with the same variety female. There are some exceptions, though, and they all involve variations of the color blue. I'm going to include a chart that shows what happens when you cross blue with blue, blue with black, blue with splash, etc. to explain.

The same principle applies when you're using black breasted reds and blue breasted reds, and also with brown/red and lemon/blue. So you can mate brown/reds and lemon blues and get both varieties in the offspring, and they will be pure for color. Same with wheatens and blue wheatens. But other than that, you will need the same varieties of males and females for breeding. You can't cross a wheaten with a brassy back and get a recognized color, for instance, and you can't cross a silver duckwing and a brown/red and get a recognized color.
