What type of predator takes fur off a wild rabbit?

My dogs skinned a rabbit once and ate the skin,
found the 'naked' carcass in the backyard,
and later the regurgitated skin....and dogs were covered in fleas.
So rabbits are infested with fleas? I guess I'll set up the game cam. So what do you think @aart about bringing in new chickens to a potential Marek's diseased property?

Rabbits also line the "nest" hole in the ground for babies. Not sure if it is baby season there... and they may shed as well. At least domestic rabbits shed like crazy a few times a year. I was going to say a coyote, but if there is not blood or flesh most likely not.

fox carry the rabbit off to a safe spot to eat so they dont get robbed by another animal. or a coyote or a owl. Cat leave parts like the head is left the feet the tail. I have had a 10 pound cat eat a whole full grown rabbit no clue how the cat did it since the rabbits head was just as big as the cats.
