Do you think this is the same thing that was there before....If it was I would more than likely think possible wolf...It didn't look like your neighbors would have wondering dogs, and I don't remember if you had a dog or not......so I would really think wolf....
oh, yeah....might need to get a bigger cage now to trap the bugger that took some of your birds...don't think it'll fit in the cage you have set out...lol

If you have tracks where the animal was moving -
a domestic dog has an amazingly sloppy stride.
a wolf or coyote will have a very clean stride, and some pawprints will naturally fall right on top of another pawprint as part of the gait.

You might be able to google up some images of the strides and pawprint "registration". I have this in a book on animal tracking.
