what type of rabbit do i have?

That's a long drive, but they are beautiful birds. Are you able to get pictures of the birds, as well as pics of their living area before you drive all that way? I think that would make your decision easier. I'd be willing to drive a long way for birds that i wanted. I can only have 3, and want the ones I get to be really nice.

No thats the bad part, he doesnt have internet, so I cannot see what I am getting. I am thinking of not getting them, I am worried that something might be wrong with them because they are so cheap and thats a long drive to go and then not get them. Besides I know nothing about either breed.

your bunny very well may be a pure flemish, it could have broken ears or the ears are too big for the cartlidge to hold up.

there have been many times I have gone to a show with perfect ears only to find one suddenly has decided to become a lop or half lop.

this could happen from heat, especially if the babies were born in either hot weather or in a very warm enclosure, ears are their thermostat, the warmer it is the longer the ears tend to grow to help to adjust. May not necessarily be long enough to really be noticable, but long enough to make a difference weight wise, especially in large breeds.

It could be from just weak cartlidge to hold them up. Not necessarily genetic, although alot of breeders think so.

enjoy your bun

Yep, they do. That's what I used to have, an angora and he had VERY long hair that would mat up awefully. We didn't know it was an angora when we bought him, got him from a bad breeder.
