Back in October I bought some chicks (pullets). I knew they should be laying soon, and a few weeks ago sold 3 to a friend. She sent me an email letting me know that she was now getting eggs every day, and mine still arent laying! I've had mine on Layena for about 2 months now! I just don't get it! UGH!

You just never know when they will start to lay...keep on giving them good food, clean water, and telling them how much you love them!

Also, if you free range, they could be laying somewhere outside of your coop/pen and you may not know it. Also, they could possibly be eating eggs....but it's probably more likely that they just are not quite ready & will begin soon!!

is she feeding something different, giving different snacks, does she have more room, is there more light in her coop. All of this could have an impact

My hens are out in a sideyard and are INCREDIBLY good hiding their their eggs in nooks & crannies. They just recently decided they like the coops the best (wooden craft eggs in the nestboxes helped).

Make sure they are not hiding them, or even eating them. If there are rats or snakes around, they may even be eating your eggs. Or your friend might have gotten the ones that matured the earliest.
