What use as bedding for our coop

Our chicks are 6 weeks old and we will b putting them outside at 7 weeks

we have a good coop

what should we line with

What are your temperatures right now? What breeds do you have?

I line my coop with a layer of food grade diatomaceous earth and then pine shavings.

1 Iowa blue

I live In california so its pretty hot in summer

I dont know if you are familiar with the species

My friend has 6 hamburgs (or something like that)

And he said he had never heard of those species before

we just got them at concord feed and grain store

So i guess ill just use DLM with dicautamus earth and pine shavings
