What varmint did this to my coop?

Darn, it really wanted in your coop.
I too think coon or dog. I would reinforce the coop and agree with setting a live trap. What ever it is will keep coming back and retesting your coop to find a weakness. Trap it and remove it.

I'm in southwest michigan too, and I say definitely a raccoon. Raccoons are absolutely TERRIBLE down here. Set a trap before he/she gets to your chickies! They won't stop at anything.
