ive been looking around and i cant find anything about what veg/fruit i can and cant feed to my coturnix. i have a vegie garden and im wanting to give them the scraps but i dont want to give them anything poisoness.

i already know that avocado, apple seeds, citrus and tomatos (both plants and fruit) are bad for them. is there anything else i should be avoiding? i usually give them all of the weeds from my lawn too (not sprayed)

I wouldn't say that tomatoes are bad. It's the unripe fruit, leaves, and stem that contain solanine which can be found in other plants in the nightshade family. It's safe to feed the ripe red fruit.
Unless you feed too much of it apple seeds can be bad for chickens. Once in awhile when I give my chickens leftover apple fruit, the seeds will spill out and the chickens will eat them, but they're not eating the amount that would kill them. Though they love the apple fruit.
