What was Gidget doing?

So this morning I took Gidget to a event for my 4H club at TSC. When we were there, once she fluffed out all her feathers and started pecking herself! I have a video if you want me to post it. She would kind of stick her beak in her feathers, open it, and then wriggle her beak around. What was she doing?

Sounds like preening to me. Cleaning her feathers.

Yep, from the looks of it, she is just preening. ^^ My Silkies and quails do it.
