What was I thinking? I bought our holidays dinners today.

Went to pick up our guinea hen keet order today and there were these turkey poults there. All of the keets had been spoken for but none of the poults had.

Got to talking to the woman who owns the place and ended up taking home two of the poults.

What the heck am I going to do with a couple of turkeys for the next six months ? I know nothing about turkeys. Talk about an impulse buy! I couldn't help but think though that we had the setup, so why not?

That is so funny because just the other day my daughter and I drove by a huge turkey farm that sells fresh turkeys every holiday season. I know they have babies at this time of year so I said: You know they must have babies for sale.
My daughter response was: We do not need any turkeys because you will end up not being able to eat them anyway.

I kept on driving.

It's funny that you did that....I was just thinking about doing the same thing. Why not? At least you know what you'll be getting on Thanksgiving day.
