Looks to me like your humidity mabe was way to low. Get a digital reader from walmart or somplace and check it. It may need to be calibrated.

i go by the digital command center and i have a another one inside both are the same

Hmmmm. I keep mine at 53% strait through and I hatch ducks and chickens in that same incubator. Once in a wile one dies but about 98% hatch just fine.

I was thinking if chick pipped and was right where the fan was blowing might have dried membrane before he could zip.

In that incubator the fan is no place neer the hatching tray. There's a tray on the bottom for hatching and 3 above it that Auto turn.
