What were your favorite toys as a child?

i was the kid who never really got much out of toys,

(as i was born in the late 90s) my childhood was the game-boy system (the advanced model for those who know the line up)

played them all the time with the ninja turtle games and Mario games. played it so much the back lit screen died.

I was from 80s, there we had only something like that

It was a primitive, but funny game. The games like Mario we had much time later.

When my son was 4 he had to have a hernia repaired. I felt so guilty that he had to be in the hospital and hurting, I got him a Nintendo game. Not one peep out of him.

Then he had to have tonsils out. The surgeon said it was would increase in pain for the first five days and THEN get much worse. Yep, bought him another Nintendo game.

I had many designers (similar to Lego, only a few others, Soviet-made), cubes, dominoes and cardboard boxes, I sat on the carpet in the center of the room and built the city, inhabiting it with toy plastic tadpoles, fish, soldiers, hedgehogs and monkeys.

This is not my picture, i get it in the internet, but my hedgehogs was absolute like that. I had 8 hedgehogs like that ))

I had one Barbie and Skipper. Kids these days get so many, they abuse them . The hair becomes a tangled mess. I still have mine and they are in good shape. Also loved my trolls, I made clothes for them. When I was smaller , I loved the spring horse. I spent a lot of time outdoors, catching critters as well.
