What will Cornish X's eat?

I'm surprised they even ate the worm! Mine won't touch anything but their feed. No grass, nothing at all.

Eventually, they ate the worms, watermelon, and juice soaked feed. For dinner I gave them salad and left over seed potatoes. (10 pounds of seed potatoes is a bunch too much.)

Tomorrow, I'll be back to work, and they'll be left alone to their work, turning feed into meat.

Update. I think eating different foods is learned with age. They now love watermelon and tomatoes. When I move the tractor, they run to the fresh grass and peck, but I don't know if they are eating anything. They also ate some white onion and mac and cheese.

Maybe I can pre season them by feeding lots of garlic.

I have 22 cornish x in a tractor and they fight over the worms I toss in there, they also seem to like the broad leaf weeds and clover. Tried giving them a head of romain lettuce but they had no use for it at all
