what will happen if i feed ducks just corn?

Just this week one chicken an one of my ducks has run past me with a frog hanging out of their mouths and the rest in hot pursuit!
maybe my ducks are just weird lol, i don’t even know think they know there ducks! they walk around the neighborhood on harnesses and try to make friends with everyone 😂

Neither is good for feed, just an occasional treat. Mostly empty calories. Duck pellets or an all flock would be best. Even for adult ducks.
Yes, corn adds calories to duck feed:
  • Energy: Corn has about 1,520 kilocalories per pound (kcal/lb) of energy for poultry.

the ducklings still have normal duck food, but the adults will just get corn (they free range like 15+ hours of the day so also get lots of bugs and stuff) also i give them mealworms
My ducks free range all day on our front and back lawn along with the woodsy area and they still put away a good amount of duck feed throughout the day. I only give cracked corn in the winter in addition to their feed to give them some extra calories for warmth. Along with veggie treats. It can be hard for them to get everything they need for proper nutrition from foraging only around the house :) Even when doing it all day.

This happened with my black swedish! She'd caught a mouse and was trying to choke it down while the others were chasing her to see what she had!
