Mamma chicken is a white Cochin and daddy is either a blue copper maran or a partridge Cochin. Her other babies are both dark colored but this little one is silver white I've never seen a chick that has such a light silver sheen like this before. What color do you think it will be as a full grown chicken? The camera's didn't do the actual color justice and mamma was not happy about me stealing her chick for a photo shoot.
I've named it Pern in reference to a dragon in a childhood book favorite of mine "The Dragon Riders of Pern."
