I have an EE roo that is about 10months old. I also have an EE hen that almost matches his colors, she is red and blue also. Just wondering if there was a way to figure out what color babies they would make being the same color? They are not from the same parentage. I don't' understand EE color genetics, but maybe someone out there does? I don't have a pic of the hen at this time.

Have a pic of the hen? There's a good chance her genetics are the same or just with Columbian and/or melanizer or something added in.

Either way, you'll end up with 50% of the offspring looking like mom and dad, 25% being normal looking EE's (black instead of blue base) and 25% splash version. (lots of lighter colors and whitish markings)

Also, you'll end up with some being silver and some being gold. Silver females will be blue or black and white, silver males will be like yours but minus the yellow and red, replace it with white, and then there may be also golden males just like daddy. (blue, black, or splash but with yellow and red)
