What Will I Get If...

Presuming all of the birds are carrying the genes 'normally' associated with the colour.
Breeding to a splash male ought to give all blue offspring, possibly with red leakage. Breeding a lavender male to a porcelain hen ought to give all lavender offspring again possibly with leakage.

I know the colour you mean.....it is pretty ick...but that's when a bird's pure for lavender & pure for blue. i.e. Bl/Bl, lav/lav. It wouldn't express like that on breeding a splash to a lavender unless the splash carried lavender & the lavender carried blue.

You guys should document this.

I have a porcelain hen. If anyone wants to loan me a lav Silkie roo, we can establish some emperical evidence, which is the backbone of science, yes?
