What will I get? NEW AT THIS!!

Does anyone know what you get if you cross a Buff Orpington rooster with RIR hen? Do I just get a mutt so to speak? He also crossed with my Red Star hens and I now have three chicks. Just wondered if anyone has ever had this cross before. The chicks are only 3 days old, and sorry can't post pics yet, I'm new at all of this. Thanks for any input, it's appreciated

Mostly they are mutts.

They should be good layer though, assuming they are pullets.

I've crossed a BO roo on RIR hens before, the chicks will look similar to New Hampshires.
