what will she look like when she’s older?

i got her from rural king. she was labeled as a “California Tan”. i don’t know what these look like when they’re older, so if anyone could help me identify that would be great

It's super hard to tell with the red lighting, but I believe she looks like she's a Production Red

Yeah she looks like a production red or red sex link. If you look them up you’ll see but they are a slender bird, not very meaty. The hens usually weigh 5-6 lbs. They are fantastic layers

Agreed, the lighting isn't so good, but I think she'll look like a production red, as mentioned. California Tan is just another hatchery cross.

My "California Tans" are white with a few grey or black spots. They have a red "glow from their eyes down their breasts. I guess it just depends whose genetics won out, the red or the white.
