what will they look like when they grow up? :)

I have 10 EE chicks, they are 6 days old. 4 are brown with the chipmunk look, but one doesn't have the stripe, but she does have the colors (she is such a sweety and loves to be held) 3 are brown/gray with spotted heads and 4 are yellow/white with a little gray and darker yellow on the head.

Will they keep these colors for the most part?
This is really fun.

EE's can totally change color as they grow... mine are almost 5 weeks, and went from two dark chipmunks and two light chipmunks to four totally different colors! They are fun to watch, but hard to sex.

I bought the "city / town Special" from Cackle Hatchery and they gave me a 95% guarantee that they will all be girls. So I'm crossing my fingers that they are! It was nice because I only had to get 10 chicks (or 5, but I wanted 10). I just didn't trust the local feed stores to give me as accurate of sexing, so that's why I bought them online.

Yeah, I got mine from a small local feedstore that ordered them from a hatchery in Ohio... all pullets, so no risk of someone dropping a straight run chick in there with them... however, it looks like of my 6, at least one "could" be a boy (everyone online thinks it is). Booo!!!
