One of my hens had this in her poop. I didn't see which one but the other hens went to eat it:sick! I managed to get most of it out. Just wondering what worm it is.

I'll be treating with flubenvet.

Those are roundworms. You should treat the entire flock, and the worm eggs will be in the soil, so reinfection is possible. If you can have a fecal test done in 6 months that will help you determine how often you may have to worm to keep them healthy. They can be infected with these worms even if you don't see the worm in the droppings, as you did here. The eggs for these worm are microscopic and that is what the fecal test looks for.

Thanks. I'm not sure where I can get a float done since my local vet closed. I normally worm them every six months. I last did them in February so they're about ready. But I'm not sure how long they will have had them. I might have to do it a little more frequently.

I thought they were going for a beansprout at first! I've got something called flubenvet. It's an all round wormer. Its just a powder to mix in the feed.
I figured it would be something different than here in the States.
Nip it in the butt! Post haste. Great to see you still kicking around BYC!:hugs

They'll be starting it in the morning. Worms are just one of those things I suppose but cause problems if not sorted. So hopefully in a week or two..worm free! Until next time.
It's great to hear from you too. I hope all is well.:)

"Medicated feed should be fed for 7 consecutive days. Incorporate the required amount of the product into the daily feed ration. The daily ration should be fed as a “complete ration” during the 7 days.

Birds on the ground with known worm infestations are susceptible to re-infestation. In such cases, re-treatment with another 7-day course, after 3 weeks is recommended. "
