What would a bantam cornish crossed with a bantam cochin look like?

Has anyone ever tried this? My neighbor has five dark bantam cornish roos, and I was thinking of borrowing one and crossing it with one of my bantam cochins when they grow up, but I wanted to know what I might get.

I do not really know. I have a Dark Brahma Hen which is basically loose in the barn. She got in with my Blue Cochin. The chicks have been hatching out this week and they look like Splash Bantam Chochins. Really pretty colors. They are hearty little suckers and hatch out pretty quick. I put her eggs in the incubator to make sure I could get some eggs to Hatch. I have since SEPERATED her so I do not think she is laying fertile eggs any longer. Will post pics as soon as I get a chance.

Hope someone else can post pictures of the cross you are looking for.

The Brahmas are thought to have been a cross of the Malay and Cochin. The Cornish has the Malay blood in its origin also.

I don't know the true origin of Brahmas, I just know that big medicine crossed a Silver laced cochin with a brahma and got what looked a lot like a Silver laced brahma, so he added the brahma blood to finish them up and has now created some AMAZING SL Brahmas. There is a pic somewhere of the hen from the Cochin X cornish cross before he added the actual brahma blood.
