what would a dominiques/ RIR cross look like?

We are trying to hatch some eggs now, and some of then will be a dominiques/RIR cross. does anyone know what these will look like?

Depends on which breed the parents were. I know this works with Barred Rocks, but not sure about Dominiques. If the father is a RIR and the mother(s) are Dominiques then they will produce sex-link offspring in which the males will have white dots on their heads, and the females will be all black as chicks. As they grow, the males will be barred and the hens will stay mostly black with some red around the breast/neck area.

I think their look will depend on which is the roo and which is the hen. Don't take my word for it, but you might get a Sex Link if the RIR is the roo and the Dom is the hen.
