What would attack and kill 13 of my chickens during the day? No obvious injuries. All but 2 along backyard as though execution style.

It was all but 3. 1 is broody and the other 2 just lucky. Pretty devastating especially since "it" got my little cochin rooster. We really loved him.

If you have a friend who hunts you might be able to get them to trap it for you before it comes back( check the game laws for fur bearing animals first in your county and state) Some counties have a reimbursement fund for livestock killed by predators.I'm not sure how you go about it but your county commissioners should know.It won't be much but anythings better than nothing You will likely need pictures of the birds for evidence in order to submit a claim.I'm very sorry for your loss but glad to hear it didn't get all your chickens.I let mine out about an hour today.They was hanging out by the door so I just locked them back up
