My SLW is Gertrude. I named her before the chicks even got here! I saw on another post somewhere that someone else had two SLW, Gertrude and Gladys. I think "old fashioned" or "little old lady" names are particularly well suited to SLW for some reason.

My speckled sussex, who do have matching names, are Merri and Pippin a la Lord of the Rings (hey, it's better than "Sus" and "Sex," which is what DH wanted to call them!). It suits them too, they are such little piggies, always the first to see what treats I'm bringing.
