What would be your dream flock?

One that fed and watered itself............oh wait........gathered it's own eggs and put them in the fridge.

My dream flock would be Lavender Orpies...I keep on dreaming!

My dream flock would rake their own pens and clean out their waterers every day!

I would have a large circular coop with big runs extending out like spokes on a wheel. With room for at least a couple dozen of each.

I would have Wheaten/Blue Wheaten/ Splash Wheaten Ameraucanas first.

Next I'd probably have a variety of Leghorns. I love the Light Browns and Exchequer.

Then I'd get some Marans that lay real dark eggs.

Then I'd have two or three varieties of Polish.

I'd finish off with two or three varieties of Faverolle.

That covers most of the egg colors.

If I had more room, I'd get some games and cochins.

I think I pretty much have my dreamflock

adding a real Swedish black hen, a Marans hen and an Ameraucana hen would be cool though.

lots of different breeds that can co exist in one pen BUT the roos only breed their own kind. frizzles as far as the eye can see.
