I realize how old this thread is, however it's interesting! I've seen my chickens eat mice, garter snakes, lizards and even scorpions, but that mouse looks like it exploded or something...any luck since..?

Not that old of a thread....but haven't seen this again.
Still think it was another mouse who did the organ excavation.
Did trap a couple of mice in same shed about a week or so go.

I've seen that way too many times.
Camel crickets, kid you not.
Especially since you said they were in a shed.
