Black Jersey Giant rooster with a Barred Rock hen??

I know the JGs are slow to develop so would I get a nice meat and egg laying bird that matures quicker?
What would they look like?

Well they will be a sexlink, the males will be barred and the females would be black. You should get some hybrid vigor in the off spring so they might lay better or gain better than the parents.

It should be a better layer than a purebred and more than likely it will weigh more than the parents if all goes as planned.

I think they would be more like the JG size and they would mature more like the rocks, thats how it works with cornish rocks.
