What would kill my duck like this?

A few days ago my female duck came up missing. Today she was found in the field next to our house like this.
What predator would do this?

Bird of prey will remove the head and eat the organs first. With the feathers right there, I would guess that is what it is.

Do you leave your ducks out at night?
I think it's an owl, if you do. If not, I think it's an eagle.
Just my guess.
(and they always go for the darn girls! )
