What would leave behind 2 bodies?

Something managed to snatch our chicks out of their small coop last night and took 4 almost 3 week olds. It left behind an almost 11 week old pullet and an almost 3 week old. It looks like the necks were broken, other than that there are no other visible injuries. What would leave behind a meal though? Picture of the bodies, the older pullet seems like she has saliva or stomach acid on her head?

My vote would be dog. Was the coop dung under or pried open in anyway?
It looks as though the coop was slid and maybe gone under, but not dug under. I’m the last house on a dead end street with nearest neighbor being about .5 mile give or take, their little beagle doesn’t leave the yard and they have chickens as well.

Any damage to the coop at all? Where are you located? Any big snakes around?
No damage, just looks like it was shoved and went under. There are several snakes around likely as we’ve killed 2 we’ve seen in the yard. I’m in southeastern VA.

We plan to move them back to our laundry room for the time being til we can secure the coop better and figure out what it is.

We've had a coyote kill a cat before and leave it, so a coyote'd be my guess. A mink would be possible, too. I doubt that it'd be a snake, because those chickens would be in its stomach.
