What would make caring for your flock easier?

Is it bad that I have been legitimately debating about buying one of the automatic horse watering systems for the ducks?

My inability to figure out a water system that I can cope with daily is the reason I don't have ducks.

So something like this doesn't work? I don't have ducks so trying to understand..

No ducks need to be able to fully dunk their head to be able to clean their eyes and nares out which makes it tricky to find a waterer. Many people just use buckets, but the water doesn't last long with ducks and often needs refilled multiple times a day.

In addition to what the duck people have said, I hate flip-over gravity waterers because of my arthritic wrists.

Honestly the two things that would make my life easier with birds is flatter land and better winters.

Materialistically, probably bucket waterers and larger feed bowls. I don't mind dumping a 50 pound bag into a feeder if I have one that holds that much

I forgot to note earlier, but following for ideas. We are about to start putting the finishing touches inside our lean-to conversion and I can't decide on a lot of things

Not at all! I HAVE one that I haven't installed simply because I just know it won't do much to keep those filthy, filthy birds' water clean.

I have ones that I plan to attach to buckets that I can drain easily. I just don't know where I'd drain them to... It's the logistics of it all that stymies me.

I am pretty sure the only way to keep duck waterers, pools and ponds clean without doing it myself would be to hire a pool boy
