i'm think you may have black chicks with leakage that are split for lavender but i'm not sure...so dont take my word on it lol

the Chicks could be Black or dark brown if the Buff orps carry the powerful columbian restrictor Db(dark brown) in them, this gene turns black chick down into a dark brown tone, hence the name. if the buff orps lack this gene then the chicks will be black
