What would ya'll charge for
1. grown silkies
2. cochin eggs
3. cochin chicks

Can I hijack and add in Polish chicks, and frizzled polish chicks too...
Peep- I have seen some decent silkies..not necessarily show quality go for almost 40-50, check out egg bid, and watch and see what some of them go for, its crazy, but good on your end

Around here:
average silkie chicks are $10.00 and adults go at $20.00 up to $45.00
hatching eggs are $1.00 each or $2 - $2.50 for SQ lines
most other common chicks range between $3.00 and 5.00 and rarer breeds hit the $10.00 mark
I have seen higher and lower prices but this is the average.
good polish seem to ride at $4 - $5.00

Large hatcheries tend to be cheaper but the overall consistancey in quality is normally not there like dealing with a small scale breeder. But this is just my opinion based on what I have seen. The exception to that seems to be Genetic Preservation here in Canada. Good overal quality and consistancey in the breeds I have purchased through them. I can't honestly comment on US based hatcheries.
