What would you do about this...?

So right in front of my eyes, when I went to give out treats, my chicken hen goes after my best duck drake. He's also my most friendliest and best guy out there.

I was a bit shocked.

It was a coward attack from behind.

Only....it didn't stop!

She kept after him and didn't stop. And he didn't stop fighting back.

I got them separated, but it went beyond just a 'peck and run'.

I have had some 'peck and run' incidents in chicken gang land also. But nothing serious, and usually quite rare with zero escalation.

So this is where I wonder, what would some of the more veteran 'Chickencraft' players have done better than I could?

I will keep watching this stage of the level to see if it stopped or will continue.

I keep my chickens in the same shed as my muscovy. Occasionally there's some back and forth and I let them work it on. Occasionally there's real troubles. I used to have a drake that liked to attack a certain rooster. That drake went away.

If you are running species together you will eventually have some troubles. You than need to decide what to do. Remove one of them permanently, or separate them out. That's about all you can do. Also make sure there's plenty of room so birds don't feel crowded.
