LOL I know that one. I havn't played in years, but I can still dream. And if the day ever comes that I come into a bunch of money, well I already know what I would do. But I keep forgetting to take into concideration what my husband would want. lol Guess I should ask him the same question huh?

Nor do I.
Have you ever watched the E! True Hollywood Story about lotto winners? Losers is more like it. Stupid people + money = Stupid Explosion.

Glad to see that my fellow BYCers are down to earth aout money.

I haven't won YET! but it's already spent.

1. Buy my Daddy a bus. One of those things stars travel from place to place in. With a hybrid car to match
2. Pay off my brothers farm and sisters house so that they can retire without any worries.

3. By my younger sister a house so she can get out of mom and pop's place.

4. Knock off all the mortagages of my neices and nephews.

5. Set up funding for college/vo-tec for my neices and nephews kids. They only continue to get funding for college if they maintain a B average and participate in community service projects.
Or
I buy them a nice car when they turn 21.

6. Buy a bus for the church so they can travel to "visit" and not have to take a bunch of cars.

7. Contribute to my alma matar. Arizona State University

8. Buy some land for the hubby and I and build our home in the middle of it. This way even if something happens and we have to sell off some land, we can still have a space between us and the "world"

I would pay off the house we have..go on a long vacation. Add onto the house we have to make it perfect and help out family and friends without being asked. LOTS more but couldnt list it all..lol I would def save as much as I could.

Ive seen what happens to lottery winners when their winnings are publicized. My grandfather won the lotto when I was a kid. He quit work, and took care of his own. But he made one mistake. He allowed it to go on the news, and in the papers. He had so many people knocking on his door asking for handouts. That in itself wasnt the bad part, it was all the harassment that he had to deal with.

Then there is the other side of the spectrum. Those are the people who let it all go to their heads, and wind up worse off 5+ years down the road. Ive known people like that as well.
