What would you do?

I am so sorry to hear that your kitty is sick.
I would want to make sure that he doesn't have something that could be cured though. Did your vet already see him to determine if there was anything there could be done besides putting your kitty down? Again, I'm so sorry.

have you had your cat to a vet there could be something else wrong with it to make it not eat or drink just because it is old well age doesn't always mean it will stop eating or drinking. If you can't take your cat to a vet I would try what some one said about force feeding I also would get a eye dropper like you give kids meds and you can put water in your cats mouth. I don't know maybe someone else can say about this but I think I would add some honey or some sugar in the water if you use honey make sure the water is warm enough to melt the honey and mix it with the water. I was told this the honey and water is a pick me up for chickens that are a little under the weather. I don't know but I would try anything.

Sorry to hear about your cat BE STRONG CHIN UP.

I lost my beloved dog this year at the age of 17 I made the heartbreaking decision to take her to the vet to be PTS I could not bear to see her deteriorate every day. Whatever your decision Im sure you will do it with her best interests at heart. I feel so sad for you.
