What would you expect to pay for this coop?

LOL, you really don't wanna know, Chris.
I just bought a 50 foot roll of the 1/2 inch by 3 foot hardware cloth for around $60, and the plain old poultry netting ran me about $10 for a 25 foot roll.

Around here, since chickens aren't a big thing where I live, you can get things cheap. LOL. I guess I'm lucky. I got a chicken tractor big enough for 6 for 40 that was only a month old. It wasn't the greatest, but good enough.

Around these parts, the chicken wire would have to be replaced with hardware cloth. It may be completely secure for your area if hawks and owls are the only concern, but not in areas with raccoons or fishers that will rip holes through it. Here's a link to what an animal thinks of chicken wire . You'll need to scroll down to the bottomm of the page for the photo.

I've seen this happen in a previous coop of mine. Raccoons were the culprits.
