What would you improve on?

I am using my grandson’s cabin as a henhouse now…is this too high or steep for them to come down/go up in? I just got 3 girls this past weekend and so far not one has come out and used the ladder to come down…is the coop too high? Thanks!

Yes, I did forget to add pic and just added it now…and thanks, hoping that is all it is, needing time to adjust…

I would put a ramp instead of a latter, just a board with some wood strips nailed across the board every 5" or so. Not to steep of an angle though.

Depending on age and breed they can jump or fly up to the porch there, but if they're not used to it it may take them a few days or a few weeks to figure that out.

They are young, the red one seems quite apt and figured it out quickly, seems to be the first to do everything, other two are shy and I ended up taking them down and up yesterday…I am going to make a ramp as someone suggested though
