what would you vaccinate for before showing your bird?

Hi Friends. I wanted some opinions on what YOU would vaccinate for before showing your bird.?? ive heard horror stories of birds coming home sick from showing and my birds mean so much to me i could not forgive myself if i could prevent something through vaccination. My flock has only been vaccinated for Mareks, and Corzya. what else should they be vaccinated for BEFORE i show them in November.?? i really needs some opinions. or do you think Mareks and Corzya are enough??ive searched everywhere for an answer to this question but can only find a list of vaccines that are avaible I dont want to vaccinate for EVERYTHING possiable just for common things . i also dont want to make my birds carriers of anything through vaccine..with that in mind what do you suggest i vaccinate for before showing or do you think Mareks and Corzya are enough?? ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME. Thank you for reading and advising.

This was started a while ago, but I find myself asking the same question. I have not vaccinated mine for anything and wish to start showing soon. Can anyone make suggestions or is there a website that goes over things? Only looking for advice from those that show, not keep backyard flocks.

Consider calling your local extension office or state agriculture department and find out what poultry diseases are prevelent in your area. Then vaccinate accordingly.
